if that were your sole purpose, you could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down." Bennett conceded that aborting all African-American babies "would be an impossible, ridiculous, and morally reprehensible thing to do," then added again, "but the crime rate would go down."

Parents United
To support our children
-----------------------------------------

We demand the removal of all funds and

affiliations with

K-12

As parents will not tolerate insults directed at our
AFRICAN AMERICAN

children

85% of the students enrolled in the school district are children of

AFRICAN descent…

William (Bill) Bennett’s racist statements
reflects his personal feelings towards our children..

He should not receive any financial support from

The School District of Philadelphia

Any support from the school district represent a direct disregard for the concerns of parents throughout the district…

I believe in the work of Father Paul, but I have mixed feelings about renaming Diamond Street. I grew up on Fifth and Diamond, when the Zulu gang was notorious, and when Mary Janes were a penny. I still walk by there on occasion and look at the empty lot where our house once stood...I'm moved to tears and joy when I return. But, it also makes me think of the "diamond in the rough," that this street and the neighborhood represents...It's a part of who I am as well...My upbringing, ancestry and legacy was born out of all that was going on there...So, it's a little hard to let go of...When someone asks, "What's in a Name?" My response is, "WE"...
